Ring Sizing Tips

Tired of guessing your ring size?
Wondering how your JOGAMI rings should fit?
We can help! :) The days of sizing mistakes when shopping for rings are over...

  1. Use our Ring Sizer
Let our perfect Ring Sizer lend a helping hand as you build your JOGAMI jewellery collection (or purchase the perfect gift)!

Avoid the hassle of exchanges and find your perfect fit with our Ring Sizer. The simple belt mechanism makes it easy for you to identify the correct ring size.

Our easy to use ring sizer works like a belt. Simply push the end through the buckle to form a ring shape and use it to measure your desired finger. Make sure the fit is comfortable and that you can slip the belt on and off over your knuckle. The arrow on the buckle will indicate which size will fit you best.
And if you have any questions you can contact us at anytime using the chat or at hello@jogami.com.au

2. Use a String

You can use a string to measure the finger you wish to wear the ring on. You simply need to:

1. Wrap string around the base of your finger.

2. Mark the point where the ends meet with a pen.

3. Measure the string with a ruler (mm) then divide by 3.14 (or Pi) to get the diameter of the ring. When measuring, round to the closest whole millimeter. Ideally, a ring should be able to fit well enough so that it won’t fall off. However, you don’t want it to get stuck, so make sure it’s also loose enough to fit over your knuckle relatively easily.

4. Pick the closest measurement on the ring size chart to find your ring size.

3. Measure One of Your Rings

If you have a ring that fits you really well and you wear it on the same finger you wish to wear your new JOGAMI ring, you can measure its diameter using a ruler. Once you discover the diameter of your ring, you just have to pick the closest measurement on the ring size chart to find your right size (we have a diagram below that explains the difference between the diameter and circumference of a ring).

Extra Tips

  • Take measurements throughout the day

It’s important to remember that finger size changes throughout the day and can be affected by things like weather and hydration. We recommend measuring your finger a few times over a day to calculate your ideal ring size.

  • Wide shank rings

For wide shank rings, we recommend going one size larger than your normal ring size, as this ring has a wider band.

Finding Out Someone Else’s Ring Size

Want to surprise a loved one with a beautiful ring? The first step to finding their perfect piece of jewellery is figuring out their ring size. There are a few ways you can do this without raising any suspicion.

  • Check their jewellery

One of the easiest ways to find out someone else’s ring size is to check their other rings. Take a peek inside their jewellery box and analyse the rings they already have. Use a ruler to measure the diameter of a couple of the rings. That way, you’ll have enough information to closely guess your loved one’s ring size.

  • Ask friends or family

Encourage your loved one to try on their friends’ or family members’ rings so you can get a better idea of what their ring size might be.
